Shape the Future of Digital Operations at Scale

A major public-sector transformation program is underway—redefining how enterprise infrastructure, digital services, and operational resilience are delivered across a complex, mission-critical environment.

We are seeking an Intermediate Business Consultant to help lead a multi-stream modernization initiative spanning IT operations transformation, hybrid cloud evolution, and enterprise resilience design.

This is not just documentation work—it’s strategy meets execution, where your insights directly shape how large-scale infrastructure services are designed, operated, and recovered.

What You’ll Be Driving

1. Service & Operations Transformation

• Reimagine end-to-end infrastructure services (server, storage, network, desktop, AV, service desk) 
• Define service models, ownership structures, SLAs, KPIs, and performance frameworks 
• Design ITIL-aligned processes (Incident, Change, Service Design, Catalogue, Continual Improvement) 
• Support operating model and role design across technical teams 
• Enable adoption through structured change management and communications 
• Contribute to service management tooling alignment (e.g., enterprise ITSM platforms) 

 2. Hybrid Cloud & Data Centre Modernization

• Develop a future-state hybrid cloud strategy (on-prem + private + hyperscalers such as AWS/Azure) 
• Lead options analysis and modernization decision frameworks 
• Produce multi-year strategic roadmaps + near-term execution plans 
• Collaborate closely with architects to define logical designs and technical requirements 
• Translate complex infrastructure environments into clear, actionable transformation paths 

 3. Disaster Recovery, Resilience & Business Continuity

• Define RTO/RPO requirements in collaboration with service owners 
• Design DR architectures aligned to hybrid environments 
• Develop runbooks, recovery procedures, and test strategies 
• Coordinate DR exercises and document outcomes with improvement actions 
• Strengthen enterprise continuity frameworks aligned to real operational needs 

 4. Governance & Executive Enablement

• Produce executive-ready briefings, business cases, and decision papers 
• Support program governance (risks, issues, dependencies) 
• Facilitate workshops and cross-functional working sessions 
• Translate technical complexity into clear leadership insights and recommendations 

What You Bring

• Proven experience in infrastructure modernization or large-scale IT transformation 
• Strong foundation in ITIL-based service management 
• Hands-on exposure to hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure or similar) 
• Experience in DR, resiliency, and business continuity planning
• Exceptional facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and executive communication skills 
• Public sector or regulated environment experience is an asset
