Digital Architect – Data

Shape the architecture behind the next generation of digital public services.

We’re looking for experienced Digital Architects – Data to lead the architecture of large-scale digital transformation initiatives. You’ll work with cross-functional product teams to turn complex business and user needs into secure, scalable and user-centred solutions.

Contract Details

• Contract term: November 2, 2026 to November 1, 2027
• Extension potential: Up to 24 months
• Work arrangement: Primarily remote

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the solution and Data Architecture of user-centred digital services.
• Develop architectural roadmaps supporting agile and iterative delivery.
• Assess existing systems, integrations, dependencies and technical constraints.
• Recommend solution options, prototypes and technical feasibility approaches.
• Design scalable solutions and evaluate architectural risks and impacts.
• Define integration strategies, system boundaries and target-state interactions.
• Identify opportunities to reuse shared platforms, components and capabilities.
• Guide detailed solution design, implementation and technical decision-making.
• Review code and contribute to development when required.
• Balance product features, user stories and technical priorities.
• Coach and mentor multidisciplinary product teams.
• Create clear architecture documents, diagrams and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to architecture principles, standards, metrics and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Strong experience leading solution, data or digital architecture initiatives.
• Excellent understanding of modern technologies, data practices, integrations and software architecture.
• Experience working within agile, product-based or multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Ability to translate business and user needs into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Strong business acumen, communication and technical leadership skills.
• Experience guiding development teams and reviewing or contributing to code.
• Ability to communicate complex architecture concepts to diverse audiences.
