Clinical Business Analyst – Patient Access -Transform Patient Access. Shape the Future of Healthcare in New Brunswick.

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Business Analyst specializing in Patient Access, Registration, and Scheduling to support a major province-wide Clinical Information Solution transformation.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the modernization and standardization of healthcare delivery by helping design and implement consistent patient-access processes, clinical workflows, documentation, and digital standards across New Brunswick.

Contract Details

• Engagement: Full-time contract
• Initial term: Two years
• Renewal options: Two additional one-year terms
• Anticipated start: October 12, 2026, or earlier if available
• Initial end date: October 11, 2028
• Work arrangement: Remote
• Travel: Must be available to travel to New Brunswick at least once per month

What You’ll Do

Working closely with clinical leaders, subject-matter experts, project teams, and healthcare stakeholders, you will:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Assess current registration and scheduling processes and conduct gap analyses.
• Design standardized patient-access workflows and supporting documentation.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, engagement sessions, and requirements discussions.
• Translate clinical and operational needs into practical system solutions.
• Support the configuration, validation, and testing of clinical content and workflows within the CIS.
• Evaluate how digitization will affect clinical processes, procedures, and user experience.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure business, clinical, and technology requirements remain aligned.
• Build strong working relationships across clinical, operational, and technical teams.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Strong Clinical Business Analysis experience within healthcare environments.
• Practical knowledge of patient registration, scheduling, and access workflows.
• Experience supporting Clinical Information System or Electronic Medical Record implementations.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, conduct gap analyses, and develop design documentation.
• Experience facilitating discussions with clinicians, operational teams, and technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of workflow design, clinical content validation, system testing, and process standardization.
• Excellent communication, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a complex, multidisciplinary transformation program.
